AN EVENING WITH LIANE MORIARTY

Tens of millions of readers love her thrilling, psychologically complex work. Many millions more viewers have lost themselves in the blockbuster TV adaptations of her novels Big Little Lies and Nine Perfect Strangers. Nicole Kidman is such a fan she produced and/or starred in both. And for one night only Liane Moriarty is with us at WORD, live on stage, with her new book Apples Never Fall. Liane joins Morrin Rout for a warm and wise conversation about the intricacies of family life, love and friendship, how local observations become global stories, and the darkness that can lie beneath the veneer of seemingly perfect lives.

Supported by University of Canterbury, with support from the Auckland Writers Festival.
