Drawing on examples of his work, including features, podcasts, news stories and documentaries investigating police shootings, spy agencies, political donation scandals and international relations, award-winning RNZ investigative journalist Guyon Espiner will take you through a masterclass on investigative journalism. The session will cover interviewing, journalism techniques, information gathering and structuring a story. Questions are not compulsory but highly encouraged.
