Join Vana Manasiádis and Kerry Donovan Brown on a walk through Pūtaringamotu, Ōtautahi’s pocket of magical, local, native, ancient bush. Listen to readings by them and other walking writers, kereru and korimako, wander in green, the ngāhere, deep time. There will be space to write and engage your senses, and an opportunity to share writing but without any pressure to do so. You’re also welcome to submit any new work generated to our magazine in residence, takahē. Come, dress warm, bring pen and paper, pop on your peripatetic boots – step freshly into spring.
All-weather event: please dress appropriately for the day.
Meeting place: Riccarton House.
*Greek, meaning to walk, without property
